Attila was born and raised in Castro Valley California to a Hungarian father and a Swiss mother, and classical and jazz music surrounded him from his infancy. He began studies of acoustic and electric bass, and worked in jazz, rock and classical groups during his formative years. Throughout high school, Attila played double bass in the concert band and orchestra and studied guitar and piano as well. Attila continued playing throughout college, and received a Bachelors of English from Cal State University Hayward.

Outside of the band, Attila freelances as a jazz and classical musician throughout the Bay Area and maintains a teaching practice for piano, guitar and bass. He regularly plays with Bay Area jazz staples Bishop Norman Williams and B.J. Papa. Attila is married and lives in El Cerrito, California.
